Jonathan Lu is a retired US Army Green Beret with over 20 years of experience as a Combat Medic, Special Forces Medical Sergeant, Operational Detachment-Alpha Team Sergeant, and Chief Medical Operations NCO. He specializes in behavior change and health education and is passionate about wellness among military servicemembers, veterans, and first responders. While on active duty, he served his rural community for seven years as a volunteer firefighter and EMT. He served the Bald Hills Firefighters Association--a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to promoting wellness among volunteer first responders--as vice president in 2021 and as president in 2022 and 2023.
Jon received his Bachelor of Science in Clinical Health Sciences and Master of Public Health from George Washington University. He is a doctoral candidate in Behavioral Health from Arizona State University and will defend in April 2024. He is a Master Certified Health Education Specialist and an American Council on Exercise Certified Health Coach.
